Paintings are coming more and more slowly....
I've been working more and more with texture and color glazes lately. The randomness of my unsteady hands has become a tool. The less control I try to exercise, the more I like the work.
As you can see from the work below, I have trouble duplicating both the color intensity, due to my failing vision, and the texture, due to my fine motor skills.
I don't notice these differences while I'm working on the paintings, only when I step back and compare them.
One other thing is that between my vision and my shaky hands, I take even worse photos of my work now...
